Delta Air Lines expands service from U.S. to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris - Financial and Business News - MENAFN


Oct 08, 2012 (Menafn - AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION via COMTEX) --Atlanta, USA-based Delta Air Lines DAL said it will increase its presence at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris next summer with new year-round and seasonal service from 11 destinations in the United States.
With its expanded service, Delta said it will offer flights between Paris and its hubs at New York-JFK, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Detroit and Cincinnati, as well as key business markets in Newark, Boston, Seattle, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. All flights will be operated in conjunction with Delta's joint venture partner Air France.
Delta's expanded and enhanced Paris service includes new nonstop service from Newark's Liberty International Airport, complementing Delta and Air France's existing service from JFK and Delta's existing service to Amsterdam.
It includes new summer seasonal service from Boston's Logan International Airport, complementing the pair of existing Air France flights. An additional flight from Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, increasing the total number of daily flights between Atlanta and Paris on the joint venture carriers to four.
Delta said the expansion also includes pgauged and expanded service between Detroit's Metro Airport, from seasonal 767-300 service to year-round A330-300 service.
